The postgraduate course in Physiotherapy (MPT) is directed towards rendering training in Physiotherapy in specialized fields so as to enhance individual competence in order to fulfill the requirement and to meet the global standards of Physiotherapy education and practice. The learning program includes seminars, journal reviews, case presentations, case discussions and classroom teaching.
Candidates who have passed higher secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or equivalent there to, 50% marks in Biology separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology together.
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree program is a four year program with an additional six months of compulsory rotating internship. The program consists of classroom lectures, practical and laboratory demonstrations, bedside clinics, self directed academic activities and clinical postings. The undergraduate course in Physiotherapy (BPT) aims to impart in-depth knowledge and skill to a student to become competent in the techniques and develop the proper attitude required for the independent and autonomous practice of Physiotherapy.
